I promise you will find God's will. His Word says in Psalms 119:2, "Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart. He is not far. Revelations 3:20 says "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in." Notice Jesus is not forcing himself into your life. He is patiently waiting and knocking. Once you open that door in prayer and ask him what would he have you do, I assure you the answer will come. Be blessed my sister, I'm praying with you and for you. In Him,

My dearest sister, I will definitely keep South Germantown Road Church in prayer. God has it in the palm of his hand and will guide it to peaceful shores. The first step has been taken care of: prayer. John 11:22 says, "But I know the even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Pray and believe and even if it doesn't happen as you wish, God has a plan. Respect the decision of the One who sits on the Heavenly Throne. He doesn't make mistakes. Many blessing,

You are not alone in your struggle. It's funny you mentioned your 16 year old. My new book addresses child behavior. The chapter is entitled, "With Kids and Frustrated." I hear ya sister. All your life issues you are encountering won't last. They feel like they will last forever but they won't. It's Satan whispering lies in your ear. You will make it through this and so much more. As you walk from trouble to trouble know that God hears you and is working on your behalf this very hour. I am praying for you and many others that read this prayer post are praying for your comfort and peace. Keep the faith and hold on!Do what you can and leave the rest to God. You can't do no more than that. Read Matthew 6:30-33. Rest easy tonight (smiles), Love Kitt

Understand It Better By and By

Funny how life has a way of showing you what you’re made of.  When adversity hits, what you say you wouldn't do becomes easier to do.  When the rubber meets the road, yes! you do the unthinkable.  Let's say you have a house fire and on the second floor is your baby and mom. You can only save one, which would it be? I've heard many say they would grab the baby since mom has been around a long time. I couldn't say.  I'm not in that situation right now.  There's no way to know what to do until tragedy hits.  Some can handle atrocities, whereas; other have no clue how to maneuver suffering nor know why hardship occurs.  Stop trying to figure out why hardships happens--only the Father knows.  He won't have you guessing long.

The underlining reason at the end of your trials gives away the mystery. Experiencing hardship isn't fun but you will come out with more insight than ever before.  Instead of getting angry with God regarding your circumstance, ex…

Your Giants

Your bills maybe a problem you’re facing.  Shuffling them around to rob Peter to pay Paul won’t solve your problem. That's just one problem. Add Spouse, children and job to the mix and shuffling through them are like rocking in a rocking chair—gives you something to do but you get nowhere.  Dealing with them are difficult. Sharing your woes with others  only gets you their philosophy on life. What do you do with your giants?
There was a man overwhelm with the cross he had to bear.  He took his cross to the neighborhood preacher and told him that he couldn’t deal with all the giants coming at him.  The preacher asked the man would he like to try someone elses’ cross for a while. The man nodded wildly agreeing. “Anything is better than what I have to deal with!” he said eagerly.  The preacher took the man to a closet built under the church alter and told him to put his cross in it.  The man was happy to do it.  Then the preacher took him to another door and opened it wide.  To…

God's Timeout!

Even in the mist of your trials, God provides prosperity and peace.  In Jeremiah 29, God told His people that after captivity, after their time-out, He would restore them to Jerusalem.  The people’s response was simply to listen and obey.  Such a simple task, yet, not easily done. Are you a doer of God’s word? Does others see God in your actions? Do you see yourself, your actions, and your thoughts when you read God’s word?   James talks about looking into God’s mirror and walking away forgetting what you look like (James 1:23-24).  Trials are not for you to point the finger at others or to use as a pawn to make idle promises to do better. Trials designed to bring you closer to God, to embrace His love, mercy, and grace.  Remember raising your children (if you had any) and after you scold them, they ran to you with tears in their eyes and hug you tightly, a silent plea for forgiveness.  When God cannot get your attention, he puts you in His time-out. No one likes chastening nor does it…
