I promise you will find God's will. His Word says in Psalms 119:2, "Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart. He is not far. Revelations 3:20 says "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. if anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in." Notice Jesus is not forcing himself into your life. He is patiently waiting and knocking. Once you open that door in prayer and ask him what would he have you do, I assure you the answer will come. Be blessed my sister, I'm praying with you and for you. In Him,

My dearest sister, I will definitely keep South Germantown Road Church in prayer. God has it in the palm of his hand and will guide it to peaceful shores. The first step has been taken care of: prayer. John 11:22 says, "But I know the even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Pray and believe and even if it doesn't happen as you wish, God has a plan. Respect the decision of the One who sits on the Heavenly Throne. He doesn't make mistakes. Many blessing,

Tania,
You are not alone in your struggle. It's funny you mentioned your 16 year old. My new book addresses child behavior. The chapter is entitled, "With Kids and Frustrated." I hear ya sister. All your life issues you are encountering won't last. They feel like they will last forever but they won't. It's Satan whispering lies in your ear. You will make it through this and so much more. As you walk from trouble to trouble know that God hears you and is working on your behalf this very hour. I am praying for you and many others that read this prayer post are praying for your comfort and peace. Keep the faith and hold on!Do what you can and leave the rest to God. You can't do no more than that. Read Matthew 6:30-33. Rest easy tonight (smiles), Love Kitt

Understanding It Better By and By

Funny how life has a way of showing you what you’re made of.  When adversity hits, what you say you wouldn't do becomes easier to do.  When the rubber meets the road, yes! you do the unthinkable.  Let's say you have a house fire and on the second floor is your baby and mom. You can only save one, which would it be? I've heard many say they would grab the baby since mom has been around a long time. I couldn't say.  I'm not in that situation right now.  There's no way to know what to do until tragedy hits.  Some can handle atrocities, whereas; other have no clue how to maneuver suffering nor know why hardship occurs.  Stop trying to figure out why hardships happens--only the Father knows.  He won't  have you guessing long.      The underlining reason at the end of your trials gives away the mystery. Experiencing hardship isn't fun but you will come out with more insight than ever before....

Trust God

Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight ( NIV ). “Police, Police, a young man stole my bike.”   Minutes earlier the gentleman stops at the local store. Thirsty from the summer heat, he decides to get a drink.   Dismounting his bike, a kind young man greets him with a smile and offers to watch the bike. Grateful for the offer, the gentleman hands over the bike.   He enters the store. On returning, the bike and young man had vanished. The gentleman had a good heart, but he had misplaced trust.   Trust in the Lord is paramount (Hebrews 11:6). Life cannot be maneuver through our wisdom, we need the wisdom of the Savior.   He alone can handle our life cycle issues.   A fulfill and successful life with Jesus comes through obedience and surrender. The Lord then guides us into an everlasting peace despite difficulties and h...

Sabotage

It’s those times when you do the wrong thing for the right reason you get caught. Those moments catch you off guard. It almost happened to me. While going out the door, a thought came to me to take my gun. I figured after the boys’ baseball game, I would go to the gun range.   Here’s the deal, the baseball game was on base. The base has a strict rule about bring artillery on its grounds.   To ensure everyone adheres to the rule, security police checks cars as a preventive measures. Thus far, my car hasn’t been checked—yet. Satan whispered in my ear to take my gun with me. Security police won’t pull me over. Besides, it would take me 45 minutes to go back home to pick it up after the game. If I bring it, I can save gas and time. Now, just because that sound good in my head doesn’t mean the scene would play out that way. I felt like I was being setup. Someone else in the Bible was setup like this: Judas. What made him think betraying the Son of God was a good thing? It mu...
