It's Not Always Easy
It's not always easy to smile and be nice,
when you are called to sacrifice.

It's not always easy to put others first.
Especially when tired and feeling  your worst.

It's not always easy to do the Father's Will.
It wasn't so easy for Jesus to climb Calvary's Hill.

But we as HIS Children should learn to obey;

not seeking our own, but seeking HIS way.

It's not always easy to fight the good fight,
but it's always good and its always right!

Understanding It Better By and By

    Funny how life has a way of showing you what you’re made of.  When adversity hits, what you say you wouldn't do becomes easier to do.  When the rubber meets the road, yes! you do the unthinkable.  Let's say you have a house fire and on the second floor is your baby and mom. You can only save one, which would it be? I've heard many say they would grab the baby since mom has been around a long time. I couldn't say.  I'm not in that situation right now.  There's no way to know what to do until tragedy hits.  Some can handle atrocities, whereas; other have no clue how to maneuver suffering nor know why hardship occurs.  Stop trying to figure out why hardships happens--only the Father knows.  He won't  have you guessing long.      The underlining reason at the end of your trials gives away the mystery. Experiencing hardship isn't fun but you will come out with more insight than ever before....

The Rain

There is something about rain. It is soothing. Therapists play relaxing sounds of rain during sessions. It calms the mind.  On my way to church,  a drizzle of rain hit my windshield.   The sky was dark and gloomy.  I noticed above the clouds the sun shining regardless of its surroundings.   Troubles in your life mimics the dark clouds and the sun represents the Son of God shining in your life (2 Samuel 23:4).   The Old Testament speaks of rain in the aspect that God gives and withholds rain, which is a sign of God’s favor or disfavor: Joel 2:23; Job 29:23; Jerm 3:3. Who tips the water-jars of Heaven (Job 38:37)?   Who gives the rain in it season (Jeremiah 5:24)? Who sends an abundance of rain when needed (Psalm 68:9)?   It’s not just the presence and absence of rain that’s important but the timing. Get Ready

W hen the Children of God came to the Red Sea, no doubt their motivation levels were very low. They had Pharaoh and his army behind them, mountains on the sides of them and the Red Sea ahead of them.  There seemed to be no way out of this saga.  A movie where the villain has the good person cornered.  You wonder how they were going to get out of it. God's people waited 450 years to be released from Egypt and right at their blessing (crossing the Red Sea), the God's Children cries out to Moses, "Because there were no graves in Egypt, has thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? Wherefore has thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians?
