In The Night

In the night, when you're alone, Satan does his best work.  He plants despair, hurt, and regret in your mind. He corners you with self-pity thoughts when there's no one around. He bully's you into doing what you wouldn't normally do. All his deceptive thoughts cause you to make bad choices. Reflect right now over your life.  Are there times in your life you wish you could erase from time and do over?  Sure!  I wish I could go back. But we have to keep moving forward according to Philippians 3:13 "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before." You can't do over what's done but you can learn the lessons and resist the urge to create new regrets. Three things you can do when troubles come on you:

1.  Call a friend. Sometimes talking out your troubles gives you a better perspective.

2.  Look at uplifting movies/shows or read a good book.  These are great distractions for a mind of woes.

3.  Pray and believe your prayers are heard. Draw comfort in knowing God has your back.

Use your time on earth enjoying life and taking time to smell the roses. Ignore thoughts that keep you depressed and sad. Have happy thoughts. This way, in the night, you can rest easy without tossing and turning. Remember, peace comes from God not Satan.

Understanding It Better By and By

Funny how life has a way of showing you what you’re made of.  When adversity hits, what you say you wouldn't do becomes easier to do.  When the rubber meets the road, yes! you do the unthinkable.  Let's say you have a house fire and on the second floor is your baby and mom. You can only save one, which would it be? I've heard many say they would grab the baby since mom has been around a long time. I couldn't say.  I'm not in that situation right now.  There's no way to know what to do until tragedy hits.  Some can handle atrocities, whereas; other have no clue how to maneuver suffering nor know why hardship occurs.  Stop trying to figure out why hardships happens--only the Father knows.  He won't  have you guessing long.      The underlining reason at the end of your trials gives away the mystery. Experiencing hardship isn't fun but you will come out with more insight than ever before....

Freedom

Freedom Fighter For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures” --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (Meanwhile in Heaven) “Now let’s see what they will do.” “Does anyone know what just happened?”   “I don’t think so Father; look at them scurrying around like ants. They are oblivious to my death.”   “Give it time, Give it time.” “How much more time?”  “Look! There’s one praying. She talks to me all the time. Her heart is so tender and loving like us.”   “Listen.”

Get Ready

W hen the Children of God came to the Red Sea, no doubt their motivation levels were very low. They had Pharaoh and his army behind them, mountains on the sides of them and the Red Sea ahead of them.  There seemed to be no way out of this saga.  A movie where the villain has the good person cornered.  You wonder how they were going to get out of it. God's people waited 450 years to be released from Egypt and right at their blessing (crossing the Red Sea), the God's Children cries out to Moses, "Because there were no graves in Egypt, has thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? Wherefore has thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than we should die in the wilderness."  Moses answers the people by saying, "Fear ye not, stand still and see the salvation ...
