HOW IMPORTANT IS GOD's WORD TO YOU?

Find time to read God's word each day; it will change your life, your circumstance, your destiny.

Here's a few suggestions to help you read God's word more:

Carry a Bible in your brief case, backpack, purse or coat pocket. Read a few minutes before your next class, meeting, or during your coffee break.

·        Put a Bible under your pillow or by your bed. If you can't sleep, turn on the light and read a while. Start in Luke Chapter 10.
·        Carry a Bible along with you to a doctor or dentist's appointment.  Why read what they have to offer? Bring your own reading material.
·        Never go on a trip without a Bible. Reading is worth more than staring out the window and will save you money on reading materials in the terminals.  Besides, travel tickets cost enough!
·        Keep your Bible in your car. When you are in a traffic jam, or waiting on someone, pull it out and read a scripture. I have tried this and every time I reach for my Bible, the light change. It only shows me the Devil doesn't want me to read God's word.

Never forget God's Command to read His Word (1 Timothy 4:13). Find time to read the Bible before it is too late. Knowing the terror of God, I am persuading you (2 Cor 5:11).

Understanding It Better By and By

Funny how life has a way of showing you what you’re made of.  When adversity hits, what you say you wouldn't do becomes easier to do.  When the rubber meets the road, yes! you do the unthinkable.  Let's say you have a house fire and on the second floor is your baby and mom. You can only save one, which would it be? I've heard many say they would grab the baby since mom has been around a long time. I couldn't say.  I'm not in that situation right now.  There's no way to know what to do until tragedy hits.  Some can handle atrocities, whereas; other have no clue how to maneuver suffering nor know why hardship occurs.  Stop trying to figure out why hardships happens--only the Father knows.  He won't  have you guessing long.      The underlining reason at the end of your trials gives away the mystery. Experiencing hardship isn't fun but you will come out with more insight than ever before....

Get Ready

W hen the Children of God came to the Red Sea, no doubt their motivation levels were very low. They had Pharaoh and his army behind them, mountains on the sides of them and the Red Sea ahead of them.  There seemed to be no way out of this saga.  A movie where the villain has the good person cornered.  You wonder how they were going to get out of it. God's people waited 450 years to be released from Egypt and right at their blessing (crossing the Red Sea), the God's Children cries out to Moses, "Because there were no graves in Egypt, has thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? Wherefore has thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than we should die in the wilderness."  Moses answers the people by saying, "Fear ye not, stand still and see the salvation ...
