Today is going to be a great day! You'll see. Waking up has made it a productive. To have a better day, you will need to go shopping for a few things. This is going to be fun. As a matter of fact, you won't need any money. When you can have a great day without money, that kind of excitement screams bright future. I see your mind twirling. To have a better day, start with prayer. There's nothing like a talk with the Master before your stressful day begins. He is such a great listener. By the time you're all done talking, and He done granting your prayer requests, you're ready to conqueror the world. Put on that outfit that screams victory--the Armor of God. Afterwards, pack a bag filled with love for those you know will annoy you when you get to work. Plus, don't forget your peace slippers. As with any day, the scales of life will produce a situation where you will need lots of peace, especially when driving to work. There are drivers out there that will make you lose it. By noon, you will need a pick-me-up, therefore, reach for perseverance. That should keep you engaged until your shift is over, then, its party time! Time to lather on hope for tomorrow after a good bible reading meal. Now that's how you have a better day. See you tomorrow!
Even in the mist of your trials, God provides prosperity and peace. In Jeremiah 29, God told His people that after captivity, after their time-out, He would restore them to Jerusalem. The people’s response was to simply to listen and obey. Such a simple task, yet, not easily done. Are you a doer of God’s word? Does others see God in your actions? Do you see yourself, your actions, and your thoughts when you read God’s word? James talks about looking into God’s mirror and walking away forgetting what you look like (James 1:23-24). Trials are not for you to point the finger at others or to use as a pawn to make idle promises to do better. Trials designed to bring you closer to God, to embrace His love, mercy, and grace. Remember raising your children (if you had any) and after you scold them, they ran to you with tears in their eyes and hug you tightly, a silent plea for forgiveness. When Go...
