Soul Cleanse

I love eating out, don’t you? McDonald, Chili’s, TG Fridays all have something in common—it’s food raises the cholesterol. But they're so good! The fries, hamburgers, pastas, clogs the arteries and raises the triglycerides.  Just the other day my doctor tells me to reframe from fast-foods because its toxic.  It got me thinking about something else--the soul. Have you thought about what are you filling you soul? Are you allowing negative thoughts fester in your mind or watching Inappropriate shows? What about allowing unforgiveness linger on your heart too long. Oh what about envy and jealousy setting up house in you? The Bible speaks about those damaging the soul. Don’t forget to put down lies, hatred, and name-calling.  I understand that if you are struggling with these sins and others, you are human and a working progress—we all are. Keep in mind if you rid yourself of the ills the Bible calls sin, you will have a healthy, blessed and enjoyable life here on earth and a blissful life in Heaven. Sin is fun but when has accomplished its goal with you, no longer will you worry about mind numbing things like weight gain, diabetes and cholesterol. Your new worry will be Hell.  Get rid of toxins of the soul and enjoy peace of mind, spirit, and body.  Take your soul on the treadmill and get rid of things weighing you down.  Your soul will be better for it.

Understanding It Better By and By

Funny how life has a way of showing you what you’re made of.  When adversity hits, what you say you wouldn't do becomes easier to do.  When the rubber meets the road, yes! you do the unthinkable.  Let's say you have a house fire and on the second floor is your baby and mom. You can only save one, which would it be? I've heard many say they would grab the baby since mom has been around a long time. I couldn't say.  I'm not in that situation right now.  There's no way to know what to do until tragedy hits.  Some can handle atrocities, whereas; other have no clue how to maneuver suffering nor know why hardship occurs.  Stop trying to figure out why hardships happens--only the Father knows.  He won't  have you guessing long.      The underlining reason at the end of your trials gives away the mystery. Experiencing hardship isn't fun but you will come out with more insight than ever before....

Freedom

Freedom Fighter For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures” --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (Meanwhile in Heaven) “Now let’s see what they will do.” “Does anyone know what just happened?”   “I don’t think so Father; look at them scurrying around like ants. They are oblivious to my death.”   “Give it time, Give it time.” “How much more time?”  “Look! There’s one praying. She talks to me all the time. Her heart is so tender and loving like us.”   “Listen.”

Get Ready

W hen the Children of God came to the Red Sea, no doubt their motivation levels were very low. They had Pharaoh and his army behind them, mountains on the sides of them and the Red Sea ahead of them.  There seemed to be no way out of this saga.  A movie where the villain has the good person cornered.  You wonder how they were going to get out of it. God's people waited 450 years to be released from Egypt and right at their blessing (crossing the Red Sea), the God's Children cries out to Moses, "Because there were no graves in Egypt, has thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? Wherefore has thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than we should die in the wilderness."  Moses answers the people by saying, "Fear ye not, stand still and see the salvation ...
