God Will Provide

Do you sometime forget that God is handling your troubles?  You're not alone. Abraham knew all too well about God providing for him, but, every now and then, he forgot the lesson.  God told Abraham he would have his own son. Abraham forgot that promise.  How can a man start out walking, not knowing where to go and get there to forget God took him there and blessed him?

We all have lapses of memory from time-to-time. When God tells you He has your back, He means it. It doesn't matter what the circumstance look like, God is not slack concerning his promises like men (2 Pet 3:9).  Do you know why that is? Because his credibility is on the line and He doesn't want you to lose your soul.  He gives you everything you need to succeed. Look at Abraham story:

God told Abraham to go the land of Moriah, and offer his only son Isaac as a burnt offering on one of the mountains he tell him. Abraham got up early, saddled the donkey and took two men with him. When Abraham got where God told him to go, he told the two men something strange:  Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.”

Question: How did he know he was coming back with the boy? He believed God had a plan.

Abraham took wood,
and laid Isaac on it.

Now That was a boy that loved his father. I would have been running for my life.

Isaac, however, did question the situation saying, "My father!”

Abraham answers, “Here I am, my son.”

Isaac said, “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”

Abraham said, “My son, God will provide.

Funny how life has a way of showing you what you’re made of.  When adversity hits, what you say you wouldn't do becomes easier to do.  When the rubber meets the road, yes! you do the unthinkable.   Some handle stress, murder, thief, home fires, hurricanes with their hands in God's hand, whereas; other have no clue how to maneuver suffering nor know why hardship occurs.  Stop trying to figure out why bad things happens.  There's nothing you can do about it. You can trust that God has a plan.  Tragedies teaches life lessons. The quicker you learn the lessons, the sooner you see relief. Many times the lesson is to get you to talk to the Father. If nothing bad ever happens to you, would you talk to the Father?  Trials are purpose driven to bring you closer to the Creator and designed to mature you spiritually. Therefore, don’t worry over what has happen nor what will happen; just know God will provide when it happens. Just like He provided Jesus to die for our sins. That sin issue we had, God took care of that. SMH
God provides!

Understanding It Better By and By

Funny how life has a way of showing you what you’re made of.  When adversity hits, what you say you wouldn't do becomes easier to do.  When the rubber meets the road, yes! you do the unthinkable.  Let's say you have a house fire and on the second floor is your baby and mom. You can only save one, which would it be? I've heard many say they would grab the baby since mom has been around a long time. I couldn't say.  I'm not in that situation right now.  There's no way to know what to do until tragedy hits.  Some can handle atrocities, whereas; other have no clue how to maneuver suffering nor know why hardship occurs.  Stop trying to figure out why hardships happens--only the Father knows.  He won't  have you guessing long.      The underlining reason at the end of your trials gives away the mystery. Experiencing hardship isn't fun but you will come out with more insight than ever before....

Trust God

Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight ( NIV ). “Police, Police, a young man stole my bike.”   Minutes earlier the gentleman stops at the local store. Thirsty from the summer heat, he decides to get a drink.   Dismounting his bike, a kind young man greets him with a smile and offers to watch the bike. Grateful for the offer, the gentleman hands over the bike.   He enters the store. On returning, the bike and young man had vanished. The gentleman had a good heart, but he had misplaced trust.   Trust in the Lord is paramount (Hebrews 11:6). Life cannot be maneuver through our wisdom, we need the wisdom of the Savior.   He alone can handle our life cycle issues.   A fulfill and successful life with Jesus comes through obedience and surrender. The Lord then guides us into an everlasting peace despite difficulties and h...

Sabotage

It’s those times when you do the wrong thing for the right reason you get caught. Those moments catch you off guard. It almost happened to me. While going out the door, a thought came to me to take my gun. I figured after the boys’ baseball game, I would go to the gun range.   Here’s the deal, the baseball game was on base. The base has a strict rule about bring artillery on its grounds.   To ensure everyone adheres to the rule, security police checks cars as a preventive measures. Thus far, my car hasn’t been checked—yet. Satan whispered in my ear to take my gun with me. Security police won’t pull me over. Besides, it would take me 45 minutes to go back home to pick it up after the game. If I bring it, I can save gas and time. Now, just because that sound good in my head doesn’t mean the scene would play out that way. I felt like I was being setup. Someone else in the Bible was setup like this: Judas. What made him think betraying the Son of God was a good thing? It mu...
